 With deep regrets we announce that Mr. Alex Moerschel, former managing director of Textechno and the father of Dr. Ulrich Moerschel, our present managing director, passed away unexpectedly at the age of eighty-four on 17.02.2010. Mr. Alex Moerschel started his career as an electrical engineer in our company already in 1953. After the death of Mr. Stein senior he became the managing director of Textechno in 1979, and stayed in this position until his retirement in 1990. Even after this date he was still actively working with Textechno for quite a number of years. Mr. Moerschel was the intellectual father of many Textechno products such as the STATIMAT, TEXTURMAT, DYNAFIL, or FAVIMAT-ROBOT testers, which have acquired world reputation during the course of the years. Even today the position of our company on the market is to a great deal the merit of Mr. Alex Moerschel. We at Textechno shall spare no efforts to continue his life work in the future.
