To Characterise the drapeability of reinforcement fabrics, is one of the most sought after abilities of those designing composite processes and components. The irregular rearrangement of fibres form the drapeability defects. Such a displacement can occur within the textile plane and results in fibre disorientations, undulations and wrinkles or loops. The Textechno developed the DRAPETEST automatic drapeability tester to measure such effects.
